Based at Gatwick Airport
We are looking for 4 X-Ray Cargo Screeners to join the cargo team based in Gatwick
The ideal candidates do not need previous experience as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities Include:

X-Ray screening parcels ready for export.
Conducting screening and security checks for prohibited items on cargo to be transported
Recording and escalating any issues or concerns
Pallet screening
Maintain focus and awareness within a busy environment is key
Tolerate moderate to loud level of noise in work environment
Previous experience in a time-sensitive environment is desirable
Ability to multi-task and prioritise and a proactive approach
Must be physically fit due to Manual Handling
English proficiency (e.g., reading, writing, speaking, listening)
Excellent visual observation and identification ability
Interpersonal skills - Must be able to communicate efficiently
Knowledge of airline codes, prefixes, common cargo abbreviations
Ability to follow instructions from supervisor or lead screener
Ability to work as an effective team member
Competent literacy, numeracy and IT skills
Flexible attitude to working hours, work activities
Assisting in general warehouse duties if required

Candidates will require:

5 year background check
Clear Criminal Record Check (CRC)
Cargo Operative Screening - COS

shift patterns to cover shifts from:

4 on 4 off
2 days - 0700 -1900; 2 nights 1900-0700

Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
