Tell me more about the role...
You will be primarily responsible for acting as the face of the service centre, responsible for providing excellent customer service both internally and externally. As an operations agent you are responsible for ensuring that the day to day customer facing activities within the service centre are completed to the required standards. You will be required to ensure that all internal and external visitors to the service centre are handled in the appropriate manner and act as service centre Receptionist at times. 

You'll report to the Service Centre Manager and will be tasked with the following:
- As the face of DHL, your're responsible for providing excellent customer service and care, regardless of the situation for both internal and external customers; face to face and over the phone. A key challenge will be to remain calm and professional and ensure you provide the best possible customer service no matter the behaviour of the customer
- Working under time pressures to ensure that your workload is completed on time for ensuring that customers’ needs are met and that they are satisfied. Your workload will differ day to day and you will be expected to communicate and seek support when required. Your challenge will be to anticipate when that will be
- Being flexible and adaptable. Various changes in process and tools will happen and it is vital you are able to take an open approach to this. In some cases the ops agent will be the advocate for the change accountability

The standard working hours for this role are 12:00pm- 19:00pm.

What experience do I need?
My client wants someone who's got a background in administrative experience (preferred).

They'll also need you to have experience of experience/knowledge of the express logistic field and 2-3 years operational processing experience (ideal).

In addition, you'll need the following:
- Operational process knowledge
- Self-motivated with good judgement and decision making qualities
- Displays the cis attributes of can do, passion, speed and right first time

This Operations Agent position offers an attractive basic salary of up to £11.78 per hour. You also have the ability to earn overtime in this role.
