Class 1 Personnel is a London based Hospitality recruitment agency offering part time/temporary job roles.
Responsibilities
• Keep kitchen areas clean and sanitized, all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitized
• Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and end of shifts
• Be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations
• Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
• Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
• Keep the food and supply storage areas organized
• Take out the garbage
• Help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed
Requirements
• Over the age of 18 years old
• A fast learner with an interest in kitchen work
• The ability to stand for long hours
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety rules
• Good organizational skills
• The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
• Patience and cool-headedness
• A high school degree or equivalent is a plus but not necessary
Uniform and documentation
• Black Safety (Steel Toe Cap), Black formal trousers, Black long –sleeved shirt
• Current passport or birth certificate plus any right to work documents you may require e.g. working visa / residence permit
• Proof of address, this should be dated within the last 3 months and be a headed letter e.g. phone bill, utility bill, bank statement, tenancy agreement etc.
• Proof of national insurance number, this should be either your NI card, a letter from HMRC or previous payslip (if you have applied for this but haven't received it yet, please bring your confirmation of application)

Payments
• Our pay week starts on a Monday and ends on a Sunday – Anything you work within the week is paid 10 days after the Sunday
• Pay is hourly, rates depend on the job site and job role - it starts from minimum wage and can go up to £10.50 per hour
• Minimum wage for over 25 years of age is £8.21 per hour & Minimum wage for under 25 years of age is £7.70 per hour
