HGV Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Personnel are recruiting a team of HGV 1 drivers for the largest logistics company in the UK near Heathrow Airport.

FOR THIS POSITION YOU WILL NEED A 5 YEARS CHECKABLE HISTORY (work, education or registered unemployment)

Standard pay rate is up to £14.50 per hour + shift allowance for unsociable hours.

Responsibilities:

• Depot to depot runs from the main distribution centre within the Southeast UK.
• Customer service
• Vehicle upkeep
• Assist warehouse/ramp staff with loading freight on and off vehicles
• Responsible for efficient and prompt delivery
• Operate equipment effectively
• To maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication
• DBS Check (We will carry out the check)
• Level D (We will provide training)
• LGV Class 1 licence
• CPC card
