We're looking for a talented Customer Services Agent Level 1 (Cargo Services) Grade Cl to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of excellent communication skills.

If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for, even if you've got limited work experience but have recently graduated in a relevant or related field.

Please note:  In this position you'll be needed to work at weekends. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview.

The Role:
Based in the company's Manchester Airport office, as the Customer Services Agent Level 1 {Cargo Services) Grade Cl

The following responsibilities are associated with this job role:
•            Basic Customs Clearance Process
•            Cash Invoicing
•            Acceptance of high value goods such as radioactive goods, live animals or dangerous cargo.
•            Reception duties including but not limited to greeting clients and visitors, answering telephone queries, sorting post, filing etc.
•            Comply with all relevant legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements
•            Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
•            Operate any necessary machinery
•            Additional warehouse duties as required

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Customer Services Agent Level 1 {Cargo Services) Grade Cl role will have relevant experience of excellent communication skills.


QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
 
•            In possession of at least three GCSE's or equivalent
•            Flexible to work a variety of shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and public holidays)
•            Ability to speak and understand the English language
•            Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available
•            Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•            Must be IT literate and able to learn airline specific computer systems
•            Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required
•            Willingness to work in inclement weather if required
•            Able to demonstrate good customer service
•            Commitment to continuous improvement
•            Self motivated and able to work independently
•            Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired

Basic salary:  £11.08 - £12.78 per hour
