1. Don't be late
Good timekeeping is everything in the hospitality industry. In order for us to see that you have the potential to be reliable, we need proof that your time management skills are exceptional. This means making sure that you arrive early for your interview. We advise being a maximum 15 minutes early as this will be a requirement for your shifts as well. Worst case scenario and there’s an unexpected delay in your journey? Please just call us and let us know.
2. Look sharp
Hospitality staff have a reputation for looking immaculate. Ever heard the saying dress for the job you want? Show us your smart side, and a clean ironed shirt is always a plus!
3. Be Prepared
By law, we are required to carry out right to work checks and to log your experience in your profile. It is so important that you bring all of your relevant documentation and ID documents. Not sure what to bring? Give us a call on 0208 748 1800.
4. Be engaged
Your interview is an opportunity to show us how well you can listen to instructions, our expectations of you and what you can expect from us in return. This will be a big part of your role as an event & hospitality assistant, so show us what you are capable of.
5. Smile
The hospitality industry is powered by something which costs absolutely nothing, but the absence of it can cost a fortune in losses. That thing? A smile! Now’s your chance to show us your best customer-friendly smile.
