What Does A Recruitment Agency Do?

Recruitment agencies, also known as staffing agencies, match job seekers to job vacancies.
The agency usually specialises in a specific field or sector of the employment industry.  For example, Class 1 Personnel specialises in four main sectors: driving and industrial, construction, hospitality and facilities management.
Recruitment consultants’ source new opportunities, and provide advice to help candidates prepare for interviews.

Some recruitment agencies go even further and offer training and facilitate entry to otherwise restricted areas, for example, help obtaining an airside pass for security purposes.
The primary role of a recruitment agency is to streamline the job seeking and recruitment process, making it easier for both candidates and clients.

What Are The Benefits?

Using a recruitment agency has a lot of advantages.
Firstly, they’ll often have nurtured good relationships with a lot of top employers, giving you exclusive access to their jobs. You’ll also get recommended for positions that you wouldn’t otherwise have known about.

Job hunting can be a lonely process, but it becomes so much less so when you’re with a recruitment agency :)
